I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 19 years of education, training and experience working with adults of all ages. I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University in New York City, and completed my dissertation focused on Birth Mother Experiences of Social Support.
My internship was completed at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Manhattan. After my training year I was hired as a Health Psychologist with efforts focused on reducing stigma and bridging the gap between medical and mental health treatment. In my role as the director of the VA’s Primary Care Mental Health Integration clinic, I collaborated with medical providers and veterans to improve physical and emotional wellness. Additionally, I have served as the lead for the Health Psychology track of the Postdoctoral training program and have supervised the clinical training of over 20 doctoral students in psychology.
I believe in my clients’ abilities to affect change and lead fulfilling lives and will help you identify what’s important to you and together chart a course toward achieving those goals.
